It all began with a baby!
Mathew is his name. Little did we know how much our lives would change after his birth in June of 1987. I'll bet you could say the very same thing!
Dr. William Sears was Mathew's pediatrician and Martha Sears was my lactation consultant. Their touch on our life changed our direction, completely. This really is a story much too long to tell here, but suffice it to say, Parenting Concepts is the result of that "touch". We have been manufacturing and selling products to parents for more than 22 years. Products we believe in. Useful things like baby slings and swaddling blankets, breastfeeding pillows and natural skin care items.
Tracy has added several certifications to her portfolio in the years that followed Mathew's arrival. We also added another son, Daniel. She is now a Certified Lactation Educator/Counselor, Internationally Certified Childbirth Educator, Certified Doula, Certified Happiest Baby Educator.and Certified BLS Instructor (CLE, ICCE, CD, and CHBE). Most importantly, Tracy has taken all of these credentials and used them in real time. Her breadth of experience teaching new parents to wear their baby, calm their baby, feed their baby and parent, is why those who know her call her, "The Baby Lady".
